Caldera Valley Community Farm is an experimental permaculture food forest and plant nursery located in the Rainbow Rivers region of Northern NSW. It operates as an artists retreat and regenerative permaculture community hub set against the dramatic border ranges of Mebbin national park.

The unassuming colourbond shed has been given new life and purpose with its recent conversion to a minimal industrial eco zen artist hermitage with multi-use studio/treatment space, an indoor/outdoor bathhouse and a dedicated sound healing room.

Set against the dramatic backdrop of the border ranges, this 18 acre undulating rural rainforest regeneration and wild forage food forest garden project features meandering mindfulness trails along the historic ridge walk, the old murwillumbah road with settlers camp, around the spring fed dam, and to future cabin sites with dramatic vistas to the north up the Tweed Valley.

“The Cabin” at Caldera Valley is the perfect launchpad to explore Mebbin National Park and the surrounding shire, with the towns of Kyogle, Uki, Murwillumbah, Nimbin and Lismore close at hand and 1.15hrs from the Gold Coast and Ballina Airports.

The perfect place for creatives looking to get away from city life and to reconnect with nature, wildlife and their creativity.
